I interrupt and observe the incessant, compulsive thinking as often as possible. Most of it is useless, repetitive and negative.
Most thinking dwells either in the past or in the future, neither of which I can change.
I am “the silent watcher” of my thoughts and as they arrive, I might even smile at their randomness, uselessness, repetition and destructiveness. Watched thoughts do not last long.
That’s why, don’t believe everything you think.
